Sun Life Financial offers 2 personal medical insurance products: Personal Health Insurance (PHI) and Health Coverage Choice (HCC). PHI is medically underwritten and offers higher coverage levels than HCC. There's no medical underwriting for HCC, and you need to apply within 60 days of leaving a group benefit plan.
